Baptism Celebration at Apostolical Tabernacle
A moment of joy and new beginnings during the August 10 baptism service.

Houston, Texas — On August 10, 2025, the congregation of Apostolical Tabernacle gathered to celebrate a powerful moment of transformation and renewal. Two individuals made the life-changing decision to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ — a public declaration of faith and commitment to walk in newness of life.

The sanctuary was filled with worship, tears of joy, and thanksgiving as friends, family, and church members witnessed the beautiful scene of souls being reborn through the waters of baptism. The day was a vivid reminder of the power of God’s grace and the church’s ongoing mission to reach and restore lives throughout Houston.

“Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” — Romans 6:4

The baptismal candidates testified to the peace and transformation they felt as they came up out of the water — a reflection of what the Apostle Paul described as being “buried with Christ.” The congregation rejoiced with shouts of praise, hands lifted high, and a renewed sense of unity among believers.

The service concluded with prayer, song, and heartfelt encouragement from church leadership — emphasizing that baptism is not the end, but the beginning of a lifelong journey with God. The newly baptized believers were welcomed into the Apostolical Tabernacle family and presented with certificates of baptism.

As the church continues to grow, moments like this remind us of our purpose — to make disciples, to preach the gospel, and to share the love of Christ with every person we encounter.

Congratulations to our two baptized members — heaven rejoices with you!
